Meet Our Team

Yazmin Sancho

Director
Yazmin is the Director at the Pinelands Family Success Center, where she brings a passion for community connection and a background rich in service, education, and media.
She earned her degree in Communications with a minor in Spanish Literature from the College of New Rochelle. Her professional journey includes roles at Instructional Television of the Archdiocese of New York as a Production Assistant, and at Viacom MTV Networks as a Quality Assurance Technician, where she developed a sharp eye for detail and a love for impactful storytelling.
Yazmin later worked with the Pemberton Board of Education, where she honed her skills in community-focused support—experience that now fuels her work here at Pinelands.
She is excited to lead with volunteers, families, and partners to create positive, lasting change in the community.

Antonio Ruiz

Family Partner
​​Antonio is the Family Partner at the Pinelands Family Success Center, where he serves as a passionate advocate for families seeking support, guidance, and connection. His dedication to helping individuals lead happy, healthy, and productive lives makes him a natural fit for the PFSC team. In his role, Antonio links families to valuable resources and empowers them with a strength-based approach to overcome life’s challenges. He brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to building trust—an essential foundation for creating meaningful, lasting impact. Before joining PFSC, Antonio spent 25 years with the Department of Corrections (DOC), followed by his work as a Safety Officer at Rowan College of Burlington County. In both roles, he was known for his ability to foster strong, trust-based relationships—skills that continue to guide his work with families today.

Shannon Reed

Volunteer and Community Partnership Coordinator
​Shannon is the Volunteer and Community Partnership Coordinator at the Pinelands Family Success Center, where she brings a sense of enthusiasm for making genuine connections and creating meaningful and educational programming experiences. She earned a bachelors degree in Elementary Education and Fine Arts in Music from Rider University. She has taught in public and private schools as well as a treatment center for students receiving behavioral health care. Her professional journey most recently led her to the Library Company of Burlington, the seventh oldest library in the nation, where she organized programming for children and teens and helped curate their social media presence. Shannon is excited to partner with the center families, volunteers, and community partners to strengthen the center’s impact within the community.
